VADM Martin Pool

• July 23, 2026: The pool will be secured at 4:30 PM due to an event coordinated by the Community Recreation Center. For additional information, please contact the Community Program Manager.
   

The VADM Martin Pool is 50 MS by 25 Yards with graduated depth from 3.6-7 feet. Lanes available for lap swimming. Other accomodations include: chaise lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas. Open to all eligible patrons. 

Hours of Operation

M-F: 7am-6pm

Saturday-Sunday: 8 am - 12pm | Lap swim only.

• Share lanes when pool becomes crowded.
• Utilize circle swim method when three or more swimmers in lane. 

 

• Swimming Lessons are available for all skill levels and are an excellent option for those looking to progress or refine skills quickly. Classes are typically scheduled on weekends on an ongoing basis.

Youth 17 and below,  must be able to demonstrate the necessary skills to have full access to the aquatics facility:

• Swim one pool length (min 25 yards) unassisted without rest
• Tread water one pool length for 60 seconds
• Jump into the deep end and return to the surface
• Exit pool unassisted

Please note:

• All pools free to active duty and their dependents,
• Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult age 18 years or older.
• Children between the ages 10 and 17  years must pass a swim test to use the facilities.
